Join our team at The Aerial, BVI - renowned for delivering an exceptional guest experience. As we continue to grow and provide top-tier service, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our hotel and ensure the smooth running of all financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Oversee cash flow management, profit and loss analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Work closely with department heads to prepare and manage financial reports and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
• Lead the monthly closing process, prepare financial statements, and liaise with FC as needed.
• Support the General Manager and executive team with financial insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
• Implement and monitor effective internal controls and procedures.
• Utilize OPERA Cloud for managing property financial data and SAGE Intacct for accounting purposes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in a boutique or luxury hotel/resort environment. Preferably in the Caribbean
• Strong working knowledge of OPERA Cloud, SYMPHONY and SAGE software.
• Excellent understanding of hospitality financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Solid knowledge of local financial regulations and tax laws.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
• Analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CFA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus).
